Alpine cheese factory & panoramic views

Early morning at 8 am we leave Interlaken. We drive 40 minutes to a remote alp. From the parking it is a beautiful 10 minute hike through mountain flowers and a forest to the farm (if you can not walk there is an option for a shuttle for a surcharge).

At the farm we'll visit the Cow barn before we watch the farmer making alpine cheese. If you like give him a hand and try yourself in forming a small cheese. In between the cheese making there is time for a coffee and to enjoy the great views, the silence and peace of the Swiss alp.

After the cheese making you'll get a delicious farmer breakfast with Rösti (Hash brown), bread, cheese and charcuterie.

End of the morning we'll continue on a small mountain road to the next mountain from where we'll take a cable car up to the summit of Niederhorn. The Niederhorn offers a spectacular 360 view. It offers also the best view towards the snow covered peaks of the Swiss Alps with its majestetic triumvirate of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

If you are lucky you'll even see some mountain goats, ibex or marmots.

Enjoy lunch or an aperitif at the top restaurant before exploring the summit walk.
We take the cable car back down mid afternoon or If you like hike down to the middle station and collect some blueberries or enjoy a Trottibike ride.

On the way back to Interlaken we stop at Neuhaus - the harbor of Interlaken at lake Thoune.
